As a community service project, we chose to provide backpacks filled with school supplies for children whose families couldn’t afford to do so. Our meeting group (San Francisco area) set a goal to collect 100 backpacks, filled with school supplies, for a shelter with which we have previously volunteered.
We reached our goal by sharing our vision with other people around the country who contributed to our project. Working together as a group was really fun.
