Queen Bees Overnight

In late October 2019 the Queen Bees program of the Gratitude Chapter participated in their overnight – and used a whole weekend to do it.

One of our women owned a timeshare near a popular tourist town famous for – my personal favorite – frogs, on the edge of Yosemite National Park.

We created a CPR with results including deepening our connection to one another and having lots of fun… and boy did we!

We hit the grocery store and bought items we needed (and many we didn’t) to cook meals together and chose restaurants for the times we didn’t. We browsed local consignment and thrift stores, fed deer apples and carrots from our hand, chatted in the jacuzzi, and every single day we took long walks around the stunning neighborhoods and golf course. Luck was on our side for a local craft fair at the country club!

We shared lots of Kodak moments, talked from the moment we awoke, laughed all day, and played board games until the wee hours. An overnight to remember!
